Ok, some issues
"New to induction hobs, still getting used to it.
I can't understand why it remembers the last temperature you used on each ring - what on earth is the point of this feature? Trying to see if there is some way of re-setting this so it starts from zero on each use.
It does make a slightly startling grating noise as you increase the temperature.
The instruction booklet is really tiresome to use. What you need is a simple chart equating the 17 heat settings to commonly-used settings on gas and non-induction electric hobs.
I do think a glass top is stupid for a hob, however easy to clean. The potential for cracking, scratching and chipping the surface is quite high. I have bought a silicone cover, which protects the surface and lets you cook on top of, and which enables you to place hot things on the hob that you have just taken out of the cooker.
I have upgraded to this hob because everyone needs to stop using gas and it is energy efficient. However, I don't love it.
