Getting used to an induction hob
"It seems to work well. It boils water very quickly and generally heats up very quickly on full power. It takes a bit of getting used to when you're used to gas. You can turn gas down and you know how much to do this by. You can turn the hob down too but it takes a bit of getting used to to figure out how much to turn it down by. Full power is 9 so for example simmer might be 5 but you have to experiment.
However, you need to be carefull. if water boils over the unit can turn off as it goes into a bit of a melt down. When you clean it, it can play up too so try to avoid the control area when cleaning.
Read the manual.
I am happy with it the more I get used to it and don't forget you'll need the right pans to work with it. They must be induction capable hence they need a magnetic base.
