"This is my first induction hob. I've been cooking on gas all my life. I'm very happy with it. It takes a while to get used to the controls but once mastered it's straightforward. Heats up and cools down quickly. Sounds an alarm if something spills over. Very easy to clean which I love. The loss of one star is because it is a bit noisy when you switch it on, and for those of us who use glasses, its hard to see the markings of each ring. "
