Will not last you long, as it will rust away
"this is the third hob in about 6-8 years.THE OTHER ONES RUSTED AWAY. Although the glass top is ok, the square pieces attached to it that locate the trivets are metal, painted shiny gloss black. They look like glass, but rust away due to spillages from saucepans etc. This is a new model made as a direct replacement .We have a granite work top, we did not know our exact cut out size, so we had to buy this..Perhaps this new model will be better. If not we definately will not buy another"
