Zeolith is Great but Significant Failings

"As previously reviewed on the Siemens website:

Bought this machine to replace our failed 11 year old Siemens dishwasher. The installation instructions are apalling, we have true handleless kitchen units and the instructions just do not work. There are no dimensions provided to get over this issue all because of the vario-hinge which, unless you have a specific need for this feature, is an over-engineered nightmare. Once installed however the machine cleans and dries the load well (especially the plastics thanks to the Zeolith) but the baskets feel cheap and less well designed compared to the old machine, cycles seem about 50% longer in duration than the old machine, there is no progess indication projected onto the floor (relying on the app to provide this info), the end of cycle buzzer is so quiet (even on its loudest setting) that you have to be stood by the machine to hear it and the control panel in the door is so unresponsive (3 second delay to any input) that when you turn the machine on you think you didn't press the button so press it again and the machine turns on then off. If it wasn't for the Zeolith I would return the machine for a refund and will certainly be looking at other (non BSH) brands before buying another machine."

"Quite an impressive piece of kit. Very quiet and does exactly what you need it to do. It cleans dishes and cleans well. The application that you connection with gives a good progress indication of the wash and enables you to plan your time thru the day. It seems very efficient too, with its A rating. Overall really happy and will consider other Siemens appliances."

Worth the money

"Very happy with the purchase. The dishwasher was expensive but worth the money. It has a good range of different programmes to choose from and it's very quiet. Also comes with a handy feature which allows you to open the door with a touch, without having to pull the door open. "

Easy to install, love the height adjustable top draw

"Fitting instructions were very clear, the manual even had links to videos. The machine cleans everything really well, even in eco mode. I love the fact the upper tray has a height adjustment so I can get pint glasses in it without fouling the cutlery rack at the top. I thought this model projected the remaining time onto the floor, but it doesn’t, but it sends all the info to the app on your phone, which is a bit of a gimmick. "
