Great Fridge Freezer

"Really nice fridge freezer, loads of room in both sections and the ice and water dispenser is great. My only dislike, from a personal point of view, I would have liked the black glass fronted design like the one I replaced, unfortunately they don't do this in the newer model. All in all excellent fridge freezer "

"The fridge was advertised as black. I chose black as all other appliances are black. But it’s not black. It’s like a brushed steel affect. "

Design over functionality

"Excellent American style fridge freezer replacing my 25 year old one. Small gripe is the 4 shelves are fixed so there is no flexibility to change the size of the spaces (you don’t need 4 identical spaces as this means a lot of wasted space on some shelves). Also the water from the dispenser is not chilled, in fact barely cold.

A slight downgrade

"Looks very smart, but is not as practicable as our previous Samsung American fridge freezer, although this is the nite recent model. The panel for settings is now, rather stupidly I think, contained within the fridge compartment, rather than on the outside, and it's very fiddly to use (all whilst letting the cold out!). There is an app to connect wirelessly, but it occasionally stops the WiFi. And it can't report on the temperature of the fridge or freezer, unlike it previous model .Inside the basin fridge, the layout only has two drawers instead of three. And the button drawer has a small flap which is meant to open and close when pulling the drawer out - unfortunately it doesn't close, so had to be pushed down by hand each time. The stats say the internal volume is larger in both the freezer and fridge - but the layout makes it impractical to use the extra space. All in all it feels a bit of a downgrade compared to our last Samsung. But it does have a 20 year inverter guarantee, which is good. And is much quieter than our old one. So a nice purchase, just not as good as our old one."
