Great AFF

"We bought this to replace our old Samsung AFF which was 17 years old. The fridge has great lighting inside, extra shelves in the door which are sooo handy. The shelves are wider to meaning you can house a 6pt of milk easily (on our previous fridge the shelf used to come off everytime you took out either a 4pt or a 6pt of milk). Temp is lovely and cool. Freezer lighting is also nice and bright. Ice is both cubed and crushed. Water works well, yes you need to put the glass right under the outlet but we had the same problem with our last fridge too. We make sure we wipe it down after use so that it doesn't go rusty.

Only things I can think of as a negative is the fridge does mark easily with fingerprints because of the integrated handles, and when the shelves in the door are full the door needs to be properly closed. I have a habit of thinking I've closed it enough but the door swings open, I'm assuming this is because of the weight of everything in the door. Other than that its a great AFF and the service from AO is second to none as always.

AO is always my first port of call with products because of the service, I honestly can't fault it. "

"The whole family love this American Style Fridge Freezer. It has much more space in the main fridge then we thought. The door shelves are deep and can hold a lot of drinks and goods. The overall look is great and we love the ice dispenser. So far so good 2 months in."

My new Samsung American Style Fridge/Freezer - Series 8 RS68A884CSL

"Easy to install with push fit plumbing.

Internal temperatures lowered very quickly when first used.

Ice receptacle is in the door rather than fixed at the rear and the design seems to increase the additional storage space within the freezer by comparison to my previous (14 year old) Samsung American Style FF.

The permanent water ingress pipe could be a little longer (only about 1 meter) which would make installation even easier, but additional piping is provided.

Chilled water seems to dispense at a bit of a strange angle, just takes a bit of getting used to where to position the glass.

The price was slightly more than I had intended to pay but that said I still found it to be the cheapest of it's type having all the features I wanted.

Not sure if I'll bother to connect it to my WiFi unless I discover a really good reason to. I expect some will love this feature."
