"The first product arrived and after two weeks started to rust under the glass pitch at the front and around the operator button panel, it became a real struggle to get AO to replace this item after I had taken delivery of it (31 days). I had to escalate several times to AO and then onto the manufacturer who said "we don't cover rust" again I had to stipulate this unit was used for 2 weeks max so any rusting of any form must be due to a manufacturing defect, again this was a complete battle with both AO and Hotpoint but in the end they decided I was a VIP and replaced it giving AO an uplift reference number, why they didn't just replace it in the first instance is a mystery and not cause me such stress !"

"When fitted and connected to the mains the on/off switch and light switch would not stay in. Then a struggle to book a Hotpoint engineer."

"Really good value...fan is brilliant and lights are great, not noisy at all, it is a kitchen extractor after all! Would recommend. No need to purchase the filter as included, but need the ducting kit...but this is quite clear in the instructions."
