It's one solid plate but there are 2 independent temperature zones for added flexibility, so you can cook a steak on one side and some vegetables on the other. There are 5 power levels so you can get that perfect temperature no matter what you’re cooking. It’s got a quick start function that means you won’t have to wait very long for it to reach temperature, so you can get stuck into your cooking right away. For extra safety, there are residual heat indicators that let you know when the surface is cool enough to touch. It’s worth noting you need an extra deep worktop if you want to fit this hob above an oven.
