"An excellent heat pump tumble dryer! A much needed improvement over my old machine, it's extremely quiet, cost-effective and seems to be doing a good job at keeping the clothes in good condition thanks to the ActiveCare feature. Time will tell how the dryer goes, but I have high hopes for this Hotpoint."

"I’ve had this tumble dryer about 2 years now and never had any problems with it although I don’t often use it. I just bought new towels and instead of adding fabric softener, thought I’d tumble dry them for 10 minutes to soften after indoor drying. My new towels are snagged to bits :-(. Putting my hand inside the rim, I can feel quite a sharp piece of metal, very disappointed in this product now. Unless I’ve been unlucky, I cannot recommend. "
