"Easy to use and powerful. I had the previous incarnation of this product and was impressed that this is a reliable replacement. The fan does go on long after cooking finishes but it's not too loud. The inside is a great size for fitting plates (too big for the trays from the last model). Glad that the door opens downwards, not from one side to another."

Worth the extra pennies

"Really liking this so far. It's our third combi microwave and the best. It's the most expensive one we've had and I think you do need up spend a bit extra to get something quality. My other two were a bit small internally, but because it doesn't turn, this fits large dishes, which is great. Very pleased! "

An absolute Ace of a microwave

"I purchased this Panasonic Combination microwave as a direct replacement for my 15 yr old Combi from the same manufacturermmm, that had at last seen better days and I haven't been disappointed. This new model is an absolute 'ACE' with so many easy to use functions. The interior dimensions of the cabinet are plenty large enough to cook a whole chicken and yet it sits very nearly on my worktop without taking up unnecessary space. As a convection oven, the ability to preheat before putting in the food to be cooked is an absolute bonus, as it saves on cooking time. Supplied with 2 trays plus a glass shelf means that an entire meal can be cooked on 2 levels in one go. Not being in the first flush of youth, it took me very little time to get used to the control panel. The 'Combi' pre-set settings are many and varied, using either all 3 components at the same time, or oven p!us grill or alternatively, oven plus microwave. Using one of the latter presets, I have successfully cooked a chicken chasseur in no more than 30 min which I thought was amazing I like the fact that any splashes inside the cabinet can be very easily removed, the grill being housed inside the roof means that the whole interior is smooth and takes no more than a few minutes to be wiped clean. My previous Panasonic Combi served me well for 15 years, and if this new one does the same, I'll be very well pleased."

Very efficient

"Love it so far. Far more efficient than my previous combination microwave. There are only two things I’m not keen on with this model though. I much preferred a knob to turn to set the timings than the press button method as I usually whizz way past the timing I actually want and have to adjust backwards and forwards before landing on what I actually want. The other thing is how very difficult it is to see the programme settings. It’s all black and not properly backlit making it hard to select the right programme.

Love the drop down door which my old model had and was the main reason for buying this one. Much safer than having a hot door swinging onto your arm and burning you. "
