Problems with Hotpoint. AO came up trumps!
"I had problems with this machine from the outset. Hotpoint has poor after sales care as their technicians are not properly trained to diagnose faults. They have no expertise on any individual machine. They are a bit robotic. They listen out for certain key words then change that part and go. There is no line management so the next time the technician comes for the same initial fault he starts from square one with his limited knowledge having consulted or been consulted by no-one. So the fault persists. They even had the gall of trying to charge me or a call-out as they said no fault was found. As it happened I phoned the senior engineer at Hotpoint myself and he suggested a possible fault and the technician that day implemented those findings. Thereby solving the first problem.... 10 visits and a change of machine and AO allowed me to buy a BOSCH.
I must say AO were wonderful throughout the whole miserable saga. I felt they were on my side and determined I should have a machine that worked. So..THANK YOU ...AO"

"Much quieter than our last machine and the dual wash and dry setting meaning things come out in the morning ready to go back in the wardrobe is magic.
Only downside is we have struggled to figure out how to do shorter wash cycles (so far all over 2.5 hrs)"
