Rubbish
"Absolutely rubbish microwave. Had to get rid of a 12 year old Bosch microwave and that was far better than this. It has 50 less wattage which literally means it takes twice as long to cook things. The door opening button doesn’t work properly so we have resorted to pulling the door open from the bottom of the door. Cheap nasty microwave. Don’t buy. "

Comparison of Indesit model built in to 12 year old Whirlpool
"Microwave function simple and easy to use,however the grill is probably never going to be used and might get messy and the door on the left hand side where the hinge is interferes with the surround and so it is not possible to screw into the standard cabinet and pushes the microwave out by 5-10mm so you have to push it in if you want to leave it flush. Not a problem but an irritation and poor design or finishing. Not sure how long the push open button will last also,seems a little flimsy.i preferred the old design by Whirlpool with you simply pulled the door handle,it was far simpler and less to go wrong. Our old Whirlpool had to be retired as the ceiling inside became bubbled coating on the metal that corroded in the centre roof area!!
This new Indesit model has a grill which will get dirty and not sure how safe it is."

2 failed microwaves in 2 weeks!
"Good price but the first one didn’t open the door properly as the button wasn’t aligned correctly. AO got a replacement out to me promptly however, the second one stopped working after about 3 days and I am waiting for an indesit engineer to come out to me to investigate the problem. It could just be a freak problem with a recent batch as I had the same microwave that lasted 7 years before it stopped working. "
