Great unit, versatile.

"I liked the fact that the handles are recessed, I used to bang my head on the old stick-out handles on my old freezer. Only down side, is I now get finger prints on the shiny steel around the handles. I love the fact the shelves can be repositioned to allow for different size items, I can now stand drinks tins upright, I would not do that before either. The unit runs very quietly once it settles down. There is a couple of points I don't like..the fridge control knob is right at the back of the compartment so you cant access it when the fridge is full. The knob is uncalibrated and no guide markings other than 'COLD or VERY COLD' to tell you the setting for a particular temperature. There is no internal themometer to guide you either.

The freezer has a light to say when at a particular temperature but only if you open the FRIDGE door to see it.

We had a problem on the second day with the internal light (only one in the fridge, none in the freezer), Bosch customer service not very sympathetic demanding odd numbers from a label buried deep in the fridge (had to unload contents to find it, why oh why, did they not put this on the outside of the unit? Then made us wait a week before an Engineer came out."

Good 50/50 distribution

"Nice looking product and happy with the 50/50 split having downsized from an American fridge/ freezer. Only issue with it at this stage having only had a week is that the doors don’t close without you really having to make sure it’s sealed. A couple of times already I’ve been alerted to the door being left open as it’s been swung shut and stopped short "

Looks nice

"pretty nice looking fridge freezer seems fairly well built. not as robust looking as my old Samsung fridge freezer but it seems alright the shelves in the fridge are just glass and a front plastic piece where as my old one had full plastic surrounds but i dont think that will make any difference on performance.

i did go for one in this price range as a lot of the cheaper ones people were saying they were cheaply made flimsy etc. i think i made the right choice here though. hopefully it lasts me over 10 years like my old one did "
