"Purchased to replace an older tumble drier. The 'new' heat pump technology was a mystery to me. You need to trust the settings as a drying cycle takes much longer than the machine it replaced. This intuitively seems to be a negative, it is not. The machine uses less electricity than the one it replaced even though it runs for much longer. It also seems kinder to clothes, as it doesn't get so hot but does dehumidify to dry. Good quality product, made in Turkey, by one of the worlds biggest white goods manufacturers who licence the Sharp name, so not shipped half way round the world, if you like that sort of thing. Very happy with my purchase."

"Filter can be opened out flat making it very easy to clean after every cycle. I found the product very easy to use even without having to read through pages of instructions, very quiet and being economical to use i am extremely pleased with this item."

"Quiet and efficient. Not the fastest but it doesn't make the room hot and humid like our previous one did. Filters are easy to clean. The drying sensor works well and automatically adjusts the programme time to avoid over-drying."

"Love this dryer. It's energy efficient, easy to use and pretty much does what it promises to do. It's easy to empty the water out as collection is at the top, not near the floor. I am really happy with the performance. I was one of the lucky ones to get one of these as I have noticed most of the sharp pump dryers are selling out everywhere. Be quick to buy, you won't regret it. "
