The smart features are a game changer.

"Easy to programme through the app and keep track of products and expiry dates. Quiet running. Well lit. Absolutely frost free. I especially like the split level door racks. However, for future improvements; the ice cube tray is miniscule and could be better designed. Also, some divisions in the salad box would be an advantage, so my leeks aren't next to my strawberries. "

Looks and feels sturdy, but freezer drawer runners are flimsy, and had problem with temperature control.

"I was initially very impressed with this fridge freezer. It had lots of space in both the fridge and freezer compartments. The shelves in the door in the fridge were very sturdy, unlike a lot of its competitors. As were the drawers. I also liked having the handles at the bottom of the freezer drawers as that's the strongest part.

Unfortunately, in the freezer, the runners the drawers sit on are just flimsy moulded plastic and can become deformed. I also started noticing that chicken and other food was going off before the use by date. I lost a lot of food unfortunately due to this. The freezer was still cold enough. The engineer came out and replaced a part but the temperature was still fluctuating wildly. I had to keep setting the fridge to zero degrees just to keep it close to five degrees. Luckily I was finally given the go ahead to get a replacement. I chose not to get another Haier mainly due to the fact that the warranty would run out in only four months on the new one, though the problem with the freezer drawer runners also put me off as well.
