Good fridge, not sure about the smart features though

"This is an early impression review, we've only been using the fridge for a week or so, so can't speak for long term experience.

The fridge itself is fantastic: plenty of space, run quiet, and cools fast! The ample space did come with a bit of a challenge to get the fridge into the space we've got, especially given the height, but with some careful tilting we managed to get it under our kitchen arch!

We also had to change the door direction, which presented a slight challenge as well, since the printed manual didn't include instructions for it, and the pdf I found had super low resolution pictures that was indecipherable. I ended up finding a video on YouTube for a different (more complicated) model and used that as general directions and was able to swap the hinges around fairly easily in the end, so I'm not marking it down.

The app was also another miss for us sadly, particularly the inventory part. The barcode scanning is simply too slow to make it worthwhile, then there's the issue of actually finding the products on whichever API or database used.

I understand it's not possible to have all items available, but the option to save scanned barcodes with no matches as my own item, so that I can scan them in the future would have tempted me to use it. As is, I just don't find the point of that part of the app.

The rest of the app is also not going to serve much purpose, so it's a miss for us for sure!

Final nitpick we have is that there are some softer plastic material that looks like packaging, but then seems to serve long term purpose as we couldn't see other ways to hold the little humidity thingy under the shelf. Couldn't find mentions of them in the manual but we're keeping them in just in case!"

Economic use of electricity

"Fridge is fab. My electric bills are lower now. The fridge keeps my veg and salad much fresher. I have got to get used to the flexible drawer. I had it on low and everything froze but it kept the bbq meat lovely and fresh in there too. Great purchase. "

The monolith

"The monolith as I like to call it. Massive and super quiet. Loads of space and keeps veg fresh in the draw for it. Good features like super cooling stuff when you fill the thing. Easy to use features. And a cracking price "

Replacing an old large American fridge freezer

"Spacious fridge and sufficient freezer drawers space.

A little concerned about the condensation on the freezer drawers, only had the fridge freezer a week so early days to say whether this will be an issue. Connecting to WiFi and app not an issue although touch controls not always receptive. "
