Good dishwasher but keep your old cutlery basket

"Washes well and interior is spacious. The cutlery tray is useful for utensils but I don't use it for cutlery as it takes ages to load everything in, daft when you can just bung it in a normal cutlery basket and it washes perfectly. I kept my cutlery basked from my old dishwasher and use that in this one and it works well. My only complaint about it is that the racks/ prongs for holding crockery are quite close together, which makes it difficult to stack chunky crockery."

Game changer!

"Wow, game changer! We'd held off getting a dishwasher for so long - washing up at the sink doesn't take long right!? Well after our tumble dryer gave up we had a space to fill in the kitchen, so we decided to get this dishwasher, and im glad we picked this one. Super easy to use, super quiet when on, and the washing up is cleaner than we could manage in the sink. For example our tea cups would always be tea-stained (thanks to hard water), cleaning by hand was OK, but the dishwasher is so much more efficient.

If you are in any doubt about a dishwasher, dont be. Get one today, as for model, this one is highly recommended."

"Pro's:

1. loads of extra space

2. well thought out layout and adjustable height.

3. easy to use

4. cleans well

Con's:

1. on short/medium settings leaves water puddles on top of horizontally placed cups and plates, this can be eliminated/reduced by selecting longer setting which significantly bumps up the cycle time .

2. 3D function available but significantly longer cycle time and not available with shorter cycles.

"Still adapting to the 3 trays and new layout - but so far I guess it does what it's supposed to do. We still get the flashing Salt light after two weeks use, but when I contacted Hotpoint Helpline they suggested giving it 10 days to settle - but we have gone over that mark now, so will be making that call again."
