"We are very happy with this freezer so far, and though it's not perfect it seems good value for money. We wanted the door the other way round to how it was supplied (which was hinge on the left), and opted to it ourselves. The instructions were scant (pictures with no words, which is an unhelpful trend) and it worked out OK, but it needed a variety of tools that not every DIYer will have - I would say don't try it unless you are a fairly experienced and well equipped. Actually the whole manual is rather second rate and printed on cheap rough paper. Some people have said this model is noisy but although the compressor runs a lot it's fairly quiet and unless you are in the same room it's almost inaudible. There is no easily gripped handle, and because the seal is good you have to pull quite hard at a recess on the top of the door; this would be awkward if, say, you had arthritic hands. All the indications/controls are hidden behind this recess which is OK except that there is no "power on" light, so if the motor isn't running you can only find out if the freezer is alive by opening the door. The lack of a drawer or door on the top shelf is a bit odd at first if you are used to having one, but the space is quite easily used. Would we buy it again knowing what we know about it now? Probably yes."
