"This extractor cooker hood is part of a new kitchen and replaced a much older unit. It performs well and is relatively silent in operation. The output connection is 150mm diameter, with instruction to not reduce. This makes for a rather large extraction hose. I did reduce it to 100mm, which is more suitable for me. This does not appear to affect its performance.
Well made, does the job and not too expensive. "
"looks great, kids thought we had a new TV vin the kitchen with the angled black glass panel. Powerful enough, does make a noise louder than we expected and I think we mounted it a little higher (80cm above an electric hob) as it only captures 70% of the steam\vapour. the lights are great, and it feels well made, as you might expect from a Bosch. had to buy a reducer from amazon for a few quid to bring the vent opening of 6 inch down to 4 inch to suit the hole the wall we had."
"Bizarre. The hood shipped with manual stating the glass plate could be tilted to horizontal and latched in place for maintenance, notably changing the grease filter. THIS HAS BEEN SWITCHED for ordinary hinges which do not lock. Consequently changing the filter now TWO-PERSON JOB unless you prop it up with your forehead or do it one-handed, fiddly job. I phoned Bosch and their CS Rep had no idea why the new model product has been made worse. VERY annoying and disappointing for Bosch who used to be reliably high-quality build and ease of use. Two Stars only because the hood sucks."
"Cooker hood is everything I expected. It’s a Bosch of course. It looks good in my kitchen and does exactly what it should do reducing cooking odours.
I wouldn’t purchase any other make. All of my appliances are Bosch. "
