Samsung DV90T6240LN 9kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer - Graphite

Brilliant dryer and extremely quiet.

"OK, so yes it has been 12 years since I last bought a tumble dryer, and obviously A LOT has changed since then. But this dryer is an absolute joy, compared to my old one.

I am not the sort of person who carefully sorts their laundry into differnt fabrics (mad props to you if you do) - I want "bung it all in and hope for the best" settings. And this machine delivers every single time - it's drying has been spot on. I love the fact that I can change settings on my phone e.g tuirn on the anti-wrinkle setting if I'm not going to be back in time to take the laundry out. It is SO QUIET compared to my old one and extremely energy efficient.

And it sings you a happy little song when it's done. Which makes me happy.

I'm now strongly considering buying the Samsung Washing Machine as well to replace my 12 year old machine, even though it hasn't broken yet."

Great dryer that’s easy to use

"Easy to use and set up. Dries quickly and the water reservoir is easy to remove and empty. "

Heat pump tumble dryer - great!

"Although this tumble dryer is considerably more expensive than conventional tumble dryers, I believe I will recover this amount in reduced energy consumption over the lifetime of the new machine. In the few times we have used it, it dries clothes quicker than the quoted programme times, and looking at my smart meter, the running costs do look significantly lower than my old unit. Plenty of different programmes to choose from, and even I, a 72 year old male, find it simple to operate.

On receipt of the machine, I reversed the door, and connected the waste directly to the drain from the kitchen sink. Very simple.

My new tumble dryer

"Having bought the matching washing machine I went for the heat pump tumble dryer. I was impressed at how easy it was to use via the Samsung smart things app to use more effectively the drying programs available. So much easier than one setting fits all. Less energy used which is a real bonus and the clothes are dried more efficiently "

Seems ok so far

"Nice looking machine, takes a bit of time to figure the out settings. The instruction leaflet is basic at best & you need to go online to get a more in-depth user manual. Overall I’m reasonably pleased with it but haven’t had it long enough to see if there is much difference in my electricity bills. "
