SMEG not as good as I hoped

"Not the greatest at cleaning and far more flimsy than you'd expect from a SMEG appliance. This replaced our old Grundig and is quite a bit noisier despite the specifications saying it's 2 decibels quieter! In hindsight, I wouldn't pay the extra. But then if it lasts 10+ years I may be able to accept the so-so performance."

Tricky to fit but good machine

"It was quite a tricky fit for our experienced fitter but he got it sorted eventually! Don't think an amateur could do it. Once fitted, it washes beautifully - certainly much better than our old Beko did. Happy so far. Hope it lasts longer than the previous one did!!!"

Easy to use and cleans the dishes well

"Great dishwasher - cleans almost everything first time, without rinsing (although there is also a rinse cycle)

I use both the eco mode and the quick wash - both clean the dishes very well.

I like that the door opens on the long cycle to allow extra air drying.

I also like the cutlery shelf - there is far more room than in a basket & the items do not have to touch one another - providing better cleaning. This would only be improved by putting a handle on this shelf, like the other shelves have, as it can be a bit wobbly upon opening and closing - my only negative for this product."

Great dishwasher

"Great dishwasher. Love to top slide out shelf for cutlery which gives a little more inside space.

Seems to wash well and love that it pops open once it’s finished"

"Love this dishwasher, great idea having the cutlery rack above the top shelf. Great programme options, even the automatic opening of the door on some programmes to aid drying, brilliant!! "
