Great vented drier

"Needed a vented drier for my garage, not much choice around now for vented onesbut I am certainly not disappointed, dries clothes much quicker than my old one. Plenty of settings but not complicated"

A great vented dryer, simple to use.

"This is the first time I've used a vented tumble dryer, and the results are great. The Indesit is reasonably quiet (although most tumble dryers are pretty loud). The drum is huge and the door is hinged on the right, which is pretty rare and one of the reasons we chose it.

It's incredibly simple to use: pick a programme, press start. The programme selection is broad, but so far we've only needed to use two of the options. Although this is an 8Kg unit, you should be aware that many of the programmes will only support up half that, and one will only take 2Kg (the sports wear mode, which makes sense, as that stuff is going to be pretty light anyway).

I'm chalking off a single star because there's no "remaining time" readout, so if another member of the house has put a cycle on, you have no way to know when it will finish. No smart features, either, although that's not unexpected given the value of the unit.

The filter access is superb - right at the front. Slightly fiddly to open, but so, so easy to clean.

Despite only a C-rating, the unit seems to be pretty efficient. I'm estimating from my smart meter, but it looks like an hour's drying on a heavy load is well under a pound.

We're only two months in with this, but loving the convenience and speed of this vented dryer so far!"

"Quick. Turns off automatically when clothes dry so don't need to worry about figuring out timings or over drying. Gives the option of 'iron dry' where clothes left a little damp for less creases and easier ironing. Always used vented dryers, tried a heat pump dryer before this and hated it as it took too long"
