"I previously had a Hotpoint Vented Dryer which I purchased over 17 years ago and is still going strong but due to moving house, I needed a dryer that wasn't vented. I purchased a very expensive Samsung Heat Pump dryer, which I wasn't too impressed with from the start, as a cycle took over 2 hours to dry. That lasted 3 years and off to the scrap yard it went. I needed another reliable dryer so back to Hotpoint I went. I purchased this condenser dryer and couldn't be happier. It dries a 9kg load in less that 1.5 hours and the clothes are bone dry. I believe it could hold a bit more as the drum size is generous. You have the options to change the dryness level and there is also a pipe provided to drain out the water to save you from emptying the tank each time. The only downside I would say is the door seems a bit flimsy and the machine is quite loud but apart from that, I couldn't be happier. Important to note that the door opens on the left hand side. "

"When I say I’m surprised, I mean shook. I genuinely didn’t expect it to dry things properly—like, bone dry, no damp corners hiding in sleeves or waistbands. And the best part? No damage. My clothes came out looking like they’d just returned from a spa weekend.
I’m on day 4 of ownership and currently eyeing the curtains like, “You wanna go next?” I’m drying stuff for the sheer joy of it. Is it the most eco-friendly thing? Probably not. But let me have my come-to-Jesus moment.
