Great hob, FYI has 3 wires for installation
"It's a great looking hob and matches the pictures, but it does cook slower than our previous one. The dual size ring (front left) is a bit temperamental and doesn't always recognise our smaller pans.
Installation tip: it has 3 wires, we weren't aware of this when we purchased it (our previous hob only had 2). We didn't have a slot for the extra wire, so if you have a similar set up then you need to put the black & brown wires together in the same slot... although it may be a tight squeeze if your oven is also wired into the same box like ours is! "

So far so rubbish
"Has been in less than a week. Sometimes it will turn on, other times it won’t. Sometimes it turns itself on! Electrician who fitted all the appliances in our kitchen said he didn’t feel happy leaving it connected.
Called Belling and they said they will contact me with a date to check it which could be next week, could be the week after. I’m left with two kids and no hob for who knows how long!
Oh and when I told them that the electrician had disconnected it, I got told that the engineer will be checking for any tampering which may invalidate the warranty!!! I’m registered disabled so couldn’t disconnect it myself, I wasn’t saying he’d tampered with it! "
