"I added this as I live in a hard water area and know the damage hard water can do to washing machines!
Too early to tell how good it is,as it's only just been installed but I figured every little bit helps!
It isn't a filter, it apparently affects the chemical structures in hard water with a magnet to slow the build up of the calcium deposits. "

"Large drum and heavier loads, washing is completed quicker . Quiet machine with good alarm when cycle complete. Washing cleaned well. Washing powder and conditioner all removed from the drawer with each cycle instead of residue left. Simple to choose programs with time shown."
