Great machine, operating manual could be better
"Decided to go with Beko again after our old machine started to fail after 11 years of good service.
Installing it was a nuisance as the holes in the door we took off were in the wrong places for the new one, so it was a bit of a bodge (we declined the installation service which might have been a mistake but I'm not sure they could have done better with what we had!)
The performance of the machine is great - so much better than the old one. Lovely cleaning on everything we've put in it so far - including mashed potato, which was my old machine's nemesis.
I'm not keen on the touch screen controls but that's progress, I guess.
There are lots of programmes, and add ons to the programmes that aren't very well explained in the manual - for example, self dry basically means the door opens an hour before the end and sits like that. The door actually opens quite wide in this setting, which worries me as the door pulleys on my old machine failed a couple of times so it seems like unnecessary strain.
