No fancy features, just a really good oven!

"Really pleased with this oven.

It does everything you need it to, without paying for fancy settings and features that you don't need and won't use.

We did lots of research before choosing this and after several weeks of daily use - roasting, baking and grilling- have no complaints.

It keeps good temperature, cooks quickly and evenly and seals well - stand well back on opening if you don't want your glasses steamed up!

We noted others have said the dials were hard to read, but haven't found this to be true- certainly no worse than many others we looked at and nowhere near as flimsy as some much more expensive brands. Plus it comes with 2 racks and a grill tray with rack."

Don't expect customer support

"Despite the temperatures and functions being hard to read without a torch, this worked well for just over 2 years before making a noise like a helicopter after a missile strike and needing to be shut down at the wall socket.

Beko "customer services" turned out to be a guy interested only in telling me that "interruption in power" must have caused the malfunction, rather than understanding that anyone experiencing a high-pitched squealing noise from their oven would likely turn it off too.

He was rude, bordering on abusive, and for this reason alone I wouldn't recommend touching Beko products with a twelve foot pole. You get what you pay for, and in this case what I paid for was a bag of manure. Avoid."

Beko single built in oven

"The oven works really well. Temperature is stable and even throughout the oven. Things actually cook in the time they are meant to, unlike our old oven which could take up to 50% longer to cook. Controls are easy to understand and all the functions we have used are great. Having 2 shelves and a tray is good.

Not so good things are - the timer sound is a little quiet and hard to hear if you are in not in the kitchen. It would also be nice to have an audible alarm to indicate temperature has been reached on preheating. Also markings for temperature etc. are quite tricky to read as they are dark coloured and dont stand out too well.

Overall, we are satisfied with this oven."
