Great TV for the price, far exceeded our expectations

"Fantastic TV for the money, picture quality is fantastic and huge improvment over the 4K LG TV it replaced.

Setup was quick and easy, approx 5 or 10 mins.

The centre positioned TV stand is a huge improvement over the usual built in stands on most other TVs and the ability to swivel the TV left and right on this made getting it in the correct position a doddle.

Titan OS is brilliant and runs and operates smoothly. All the usual apps you'd expect to be there, plus other newer services (pluto etc). It's so good I prefer using over the fire stick we used to use.

The screen quality is brilliant, blacks are deep and dark and not washed out or grey. Colours are bright and vibrant. Easily one of the best quality pictures I've seen around this price point.

Built in speakers are very good, so good my older soundbar doesn't improve it, so it looks like a new one might be on the cards.

The amblight feature is brilliant and it follows what's on the screen effortlessly and adds to the immersion. The colours are fairly accurate too and when watching films or documentaries (think Blue Planet!) it really adds to the experience without being a distraction. For general TV watching it can be turned off with a simple button on the remote.

Overall, for this price point the TV is fantastic, time will tell how long it lasts, however if I get 8-9 years like the LG it replaced I'll be more than happy. "

Excellent package

"My trusty LG plasma finally gave up the ghost so needed to source a replacement panel.

After looking for a while, this new 2024 Philips set stood out with a solid spec sheet at this price point.

I've got an Xbox Series X and this works perfectly with it with all the display settings being supported to get the most out of 4K 120hz. It also works flawlessly with my JBL soundbar.

4K picture quality is excellent with plenty of settings to adjust to your liking and room conditions. The settings can be individually adjusted for each input and app that you use which is a nice feature.

The TITAN OS interface is quick and easy to use with all of the usual streaming apps. The remote control is great and feels nice and snappy.

The ambilight feature is brilliant and really adds an extra layer to watching TV, it can be adjusted or even turned off to suit different situations.

It's handy having both the Freeview HD and satellite tuners so you can get additional HD satellite channels that aren't included on Freeview.

Overall I'm really happy with the TV. For the price paid I think it's great value for money and offers specs that aren't offered on some more expensive sets. It's great for gaming and a solid daily TV and streaming set for the home."
