Stunning Pictures, Simple Setup
"I mulled over the decision to buy a new TV for weeks while doing exhaustive online research. My requirements and my budget pointed me in the direction of the Philips PML9008 55" Ambilight Mini LED and I have to say I am delighted with the results. The set up was straight forward and the picture quality (via Sky Stream and Amazon Fire cube) is sensational. The colours are sparkling and the blacks are rich and deep. It took some adjustments to get the UHD picture on the sports channels correct but now it looks amazing. This is my first Ambilight tv and I wondered if it was just a gimmick but I have to say it adds an extra depth to the pictures and definitely enhances the viewing experience. The TV sound is quite good but as I already had a sound system, I attached it and the sound is expansive and immersive. I had one minor glitch with the TV resetting itself continuously but switching the power off cured that and it hasn't happened again. After three weeks of viewing I am absolutely delighted with the purchase and would heartily recommend it. "
