Top quality washing machine
"Good quality machine in all ways: easy to programme and really quiet, even with the top spin speed. 1600rpm gets the clothes much drier than our old machine, so that is another plus.
Also the instructions for self-installation were clear, making is easy to get started. The levelling adjustments for the feet were simple too, so I would get it set up dead level easily."

"I had my previous Siemens washing machine for 15 years with nothing going wrong. My new machine is fantastic. Very quiet and I am delighted at the standard of cleanliness of the washing.
Only bugbear is the number of programmes which I will never use as one of the economy programmes takes 4 hours 25 minutes!
Being an A grade machine I am sure will be an improvement on my previous Siemens."

No weight indicator
"I had a 13 year old IQ 700 which indicated the weight of the laundry, so you could tell whether your were overloading it. The IQ500 tells you the weight allowed but doesn't measure it as you load the machine. So it's guess work, trial and error. Seems to have worked so far. Otherwise seems to be good replacement for IQ 700."
