Stoves SFG60DOP Gas Cooker - Stainless Steel

4.4 / 5 (14 reviews)

A new way to cook. This model offers you fanned gas cooking that fuses modern and traditional techniques. It uses the element at the back to produce heat which is then moved around by the fan to give you an even temperature. You’ll also benefit from a 48 litre capacity in the main oven, and 27 litres in the smaller oven, so you have plenty of space. On top you’re getting 4 gas burners with cast iron pan supports that offer you reliability. The LED display is a real bonus too, clearly giving you all the information you need so it’s easy to operate.

Nice looking cooker with plenty of good features

Pros: Quiet, Ease to use, Good build quality, Value for money, Looks good

"Just getting used to what is in effect a dual fuel cooker that is technically termed gas!

Replacing my old dual fuel cooker I discovered all dual fuel cookers now need hard wiring, with its position in a central island this was not possible, so had to choose one that only required plug and socket wiring.

This was my near perfect replacement, the hob and ovens are both gas, but with addition of fan assisted, the grill is electric.

Overall it is a good cooker and easy to use, very good service from Ao, pretty pleased with my purchase"

My first new cooker in 26 years!

Pros: Ease to use, Even heat for baking, Good build quality, Looks good, Quiet, Value for money

"I love cooking with gas and I do bake a lot....

My poor old cooker was 26 years old and the oven seal had gone so I had hot and cold spots. How lovely it is to have an oven that I don't need to turn the cakes to stop them catching. I am getting used to the extra warming up time but apart from that it all works beautifully. I was surprised that the electric grill was as efficient as it is. That certainly gets hot quickly which nearly caught me out at first use.

I was surprised at the smell from both ovens when the cooker first came but my husband told me not to panic that it was normal.

I have baked in both top and bottom ovens and they both work well.

The only thing I felt was cheeky is that you have to buy the handle for the grill pan as an extra!

Good Cooker

Pros: Good build quality, Looks good

"Nice looking cooker which is also of a good build quality. After a few weeks use the cooker is working well with no problems to highlight. As with most other cookers the low setting on the smallest gas hob means simmering does not work very well but this seems to be the norm with most new cookers now. Overall pleased with the cooker and would recommend. Preheating does take some time but this seems to be the same with most cookers. The Wok attachment works well."

Not very happy at all

"The pre-heating time is ridiculous, you have to remember at least 15 minutes before you start cooking to heat the oven, the cleaning of the whole of the cooker is very time consuming if you want to keep it looking nice, unable to simmer on any of the burners and the wok burner is ridiculously high and really unable to use this burner at all. Best of both worlds

Pros: Looks good

"Bought to replace a free standing gas cooker, fan in the main oven means it can be used like an electric oven, ideal for baking, electric grill is a bonus too! Main oven slightly smaller than cooker replaced.

Wok hob is a great feature for those that love a stir fry.

Unlike some gas cookers looks sleek and modern, display is green numbers on black, matched the other appliances in the kitchen. It's also simple to use.

Stainless steel means it's not the easiest to keep clean."
