It's BIG and crisp!
"This is a monster of a TV and fills an entire wall in our dedicated movie & games room.The one connect box makes hiding the multitude of cables easy with only one small cable coming from the TV.HDMIs are 2.1 and rated for next gen consoles (4k 120Hz) and they look amazing.Even SD looks good on this TV but it really comes into it's own when playing 4K content.Sound is acceptable and good for such a thin set but we're using a soundbar for now until we can afford the flagship Samsung version which will utilise the TV's speakers in addition.I would recommend turning off the ambient light adjusting mode and switch from Normal to Dynamic. Leaving either of these set at default will result in what can only be described as letterbox "flashing" as it tries to cope with dark scenes that have occasional bright scenes.In dynamic mode the black are deep and rich.Amazon send the Film maker mode down with the signal which enhances everything even more.All the apps you could ever want are freely available and setup was extremely easy through the SmartThings app.If you can afford it, get it! It's a magnificent fully featured beast of a TV."

My thoughts so far
"Having only just set up the TV this past weekend (Sept 10), I wanted to share some of my initial thoughts on the initial set up of the TV and some early observations on TV performance.Setup of the TV is a two person job, it's just too big and heavy for one person to lift without any risk of damage. The quick setup guide provides a useful step by step guide on all the steps you should take to set up the TV and proved to be very helpful. The packaging has also been very well though out, the only gripe would be when you're connecting the stand (Quite heavy) to the TV, it would have been good if one of the pieces of polystyrene was the exact thickness to support the stand whist attempting to screw it into the TV.Once switched on, initial set up took less than half an hour and the on screen instructions were simple enough to follow. I did some searching on YouTube for picture set up videos, there seems to be plenty about and provided some very useful information on how to refine the picture settings, well worth the effort. Looking forwards to using the TV over the next few weeks and searching for some 8K content to test the performance of the TV. Will post a follow up testimonial over the coming weeks."

Excellent vibrant colour TV at its best !
"We are extremely delighted with having purchased the Samsung 75-inch QN800B 8K Neo QLED TV as our first smart TV and feel like we couldn’t have made a better decision. Right from setting up the TV in our living room, we found it extremely simple to mount to our wall, alongside integrating a soundbar. We’re also big fans of the One Connect box as it enhances cable management. It must be mentioned that the picture quality is outstanding. Whilst giving a cinematic experience, it’s arguably the sharpest and brightest picture we’ve seen and the 8k upscaling is impressive. The TV OS makes for seamless navigation, and as we enjoy watching Netflix and Prime Video, we consider it a highly important aspect. The default sound settings are acceptable. Overall, the TV is highly impressive, and it is worth the price point."

"I'm a fan of Samsung TV's. They never fail to disappoint and this one is no exception. The set up was relatively easy & the features/ remote functions easy to grasp. Quality is top notch which is something you would expect anyway from a superior brand with a truly modern gadget. Speed in switching between channels and using the smart features is also very good and responsive. Tv connects well to different means of connections such as the wireless, cable etc. once connected its all set up for rich a visual experience. The colors are brilliant and truly gives you an experience of watching movies in a big screen cinema. Size is massive and fits really well in my lounge. It is a winner in terms of functions, features and aesthetically pleasing. Design is simple yet modern and stays true its name. It is quite heavy as expected for a TV of this size but that in no way is a negative. Not sure about the energy rating of E but i guess that is again something expected of TV's of large size. Sound quality is perfect without the need for an additional sub woofer etc. All in all it is a master piece delivering superior smart features from a superior brand."
