"Picture quality is the best we’ve had. This is our first OLED TV and I was happy with how affordable this technology is now. Very impressed by how slim line the unit is. We bought a stand for it which was easy to fit but plan on putting it in the wall.

I don’t think the home menu is clunky but it does take some getting used to, to navigate how to do things like switch HDMI input, but quickly got to grips with this. We are happy with our purchase and the service from AO."

Slimline and packed with powerful AI

"This product is fantastic. Its extra features, such as the 144Hz refresh rate, ALLM, VRR, FreeSync Premium, and so much more, are beneficial for gamers. I also noticed a significant difference when watching low-quality content. The new A11 processor in this TV applies motion-smoothing effects wonderfully. Everything looks crisp and detailed, and even older content looks like it's been remastered.

The only gripe I had with this TV was the protective film. It's very well laid on the screen, but the pull tab was not strong enough to lift the film, which came right off while leaving the screen protector attached. I did manage to remove the film safely and hopefully not all models are like that, but apart from this, I highly recommend this TV. "

OLED is well worth the upgrade

"This was an upgrade from a plamsa TV from 2008 to this LG G45LW 55" 4K OLED and it is astonishing how much the image quality has changed over that time. It's absolutely breathtaking and that's even with you're normal 1080 HD quality streaming videos.

Once you watch a 4k blu-ray, even one you know and love well, it's like it's a new film in places with extra details everywhere you look.

It's not all roses. I'd have liked some older style inputs instead of needing a SCART/etc to HDMI adapter for retro consoles. It's a modern TV with built-in smart features and I prefer to use external boxes etc but these are minor gripes from an old man, they're all easy to work around and frankly I think those issues cover all modern TVs.

This is absolutely a 5-star TV. I wondered and dithered about upgrading for so long and now I wish I'd done it sooner."
