"Good points: looks absolutely fab, solidly built and good quality.
Noise: well…. Run the machine extractor without the ducting connected and its super quiet. If like me you have to drop to 100mm and wiggle a bend or two as your outside wall is to the left or right and you run across top of units, then the noise goes up. Its not intolerable
Performance: offsetting the noise, wow! This works, it like standing in a jet engine backwash! Didn’t realise just how poor my old (different brand) one was
Niggles: it always comes on at power settings 2… quite honestly power setting 1 is more than enough… so you have to keep turning it down. That it a big irritation for this price unit. Either default start at 1 or power setting it was switched off at. Extra/disposable or washable grease filters- cannot be fitted… personally i would like the option as no matter how effective the gauze is, some always gors internally. No old model could have additional layer added.
