Good extraction and filtering

"Ordered this item with the Elica induction hob. I found it really easy to install (charcoal filters can be a bit fiddly to insert into their slots).

Having run the hob's extractor fan on multiple settings (between 1 to 4, then auto andpower modes), I can see the steam being sucked down and vented. Here's where the charcoal filters come into play. They do a very good job of cleansing the pungent aroma whilst cooking aromatic meals (curries, omelette, broccoli, etc).

Although this kit can't compete with systems that vent externally, it does an excellent job of mitigating steam, condensation and cooking smells (ventilation is always required as the air is recirculated around the room, it is still necessary to open a window or two). "
