Great washing machine - erratic app

"So far so good with an excellent results from a standard wash. The 11kg sized machine is from the outside a standard size of 85cm high and 60cm wide so will fit into most spaces that people may already have for their old existing washer. Running through the cycles, there are so many to choose from and then fine-tune (60+ via the app!) The accompanying "hon" app that is provided by Haier through Android and IOS is very useful though erratic. I can set up and adjust programmes but there seems to be a glitch between the app starting the machine even if it can see the machine is "ready" and linked for remote control to the app. When sending an instruction to the machine to start a cycle, the machine status in the app changes from "ready" to "offline". I have reported this to Haier, hopefully a software update or app update will come over time. I had the same problem with devices on IOS and Android. The ability to set up a family account for others in the house to access the app and control the machine is very useful. The app does allow me to monitor and pause/resume a cycle that I started originally when physically at the machine at least. There is an on-screen display which helps to determine what stage of the cycle it is on, and how long remains. Some of the new features are very clever, such as telling me what the weather is like in my area at the time the wash is due to finish (including bad weather warnings!) in case I had planned to hang anything outdoors! The liquid dispensers are very clever, they will allow a predetermined amount of laundry washing liquid or conditioner to be dispensed into the wash. One excellent function is the "freshener" option which will keep the drum moving after the cycle has finished, while pushing external fresh air into the drum. This helps stop the clothes from clumping together while damp to greatly reduce the affects of bacteria/mould. The spin cycle (even the maximum 1400 speed) is very quiet for a machine of this capacity. My dog was comfortably napping just a couple of feet away (you can see her reflection in the door!). Finally the little light inside the drum is a lovely feature to help ensure the load has been completely emptied! No more losing a sock at the back!"

Excellent machine

"I’ve been using the Haier X11 washing machine for a few days, and I’m really impressed with its performance. Fantastic washing machine

"I have this washing machine for over 2 weeks now. I'm doing a lot of laundry sometimes even twice a day amd I have to admit this washing machine is just fantastic. The design is amazing, very simplistic what I absolutely love about it. Lovely touch screen with a decent display makes it very modern. The smart option is also brilliant, you can connect to the WiFi and to the app which is great, on top of this auto dosing system definitely is going to save me some money as it dose the amount of chemistry needed depending on the weight, I always used to just put the maximum amount needed. There is also fresh option and if your laundry is finished it will keep on turning it wiry fresh air to keep it fresh until you're ready to take it out. I'm very pleased with this and highly recommend it. "

I love this washing machine

"This washing machine lovely and looks really smart and is smart in technology too. It has many setting from quick wash to stain removal just to mention a few, I also love the auto dosing for washing powder liquid and conditioner. It’s amazing having a big drum without the washing machine itself looking huge, and it’s cool that it lights up when open.

The Fresh Air technology is a great feature especially as a mother of an 11 month old as chores are often on hold due to running around after him, so being able to leave it without fear of it getting smelly is great. The machine is super quiet when on so again great when you have a child as can put washing machine on during nap time with no fear. The on off button is a little over responsive and I have found that I lean on it and turn it on in error. I am looking forward to trying out all the functions and am super happy with my purchase. The AO fitters were also great, they called with an hour delivery slot, fitted quickly and explained everything to me. "
