The best fridge freezer I've ever had!

"I have limited space, but have 6 of us living in our house, so I wanted a lot of room inside, and this fulfils our expectations. From the tall sleek look of this fridge freezer in stylish brushed stainless steel, with an led display on the front of the fridge door, showing the fridge and freezer temperatures and having the option to "fast freeze" after I've loaded our shopping (to ensure lollies don't get chance to melt, as well as quickly setting the lollies we have made) to a "holiday mode", for when we go away, its fab! I am pleased to see these buttons are "locked" so kids can't climb on a chair and mess with them - they tried... but it's a "hold down for 3 seconds" job to unlock them, and they can't read yet and so failed in their task!

We love the water dispenser and it's actually gotten us drinking more water, rather than juice (better for teeth) as it's filtered (these generic filters can be bought separately for future from most retailers).

Inside the fridge, I was immediately impressed by the bright white light, so I can see everything so much easier than our old fridge, and the big drawer at the bottom, which has a setting dial at the back from fruit/veg to chiller, for deli and meat. I am so impressed how long food lasts and how cold everything is. I think our old fridge wasn't running on full power for a while and I hadn't noticed. But now I see the difference and wow! Food lasts, which means less waste, and money saved!

I have done some big shops and filled the fridge with plenty, and we use the top shelf for big bottles. There are 4 shelves plus the drawer and door storage. It comes with x2 egg holders for 12 eggs.

I was initially disappointed that I can't now buy 6 pint milk bottles anymore. But, I can get x2 4 pinters in either side of where the water tank is, and fit x3 sauce bottles inbetween them, so it's not really a problem. The top shelf in the door is perfect for jam jars and medication, and is tall and out of the way of children. I particularly like the x2 smaller shelves either side of the water tank, which I keep my eye mask and baby food in.

The freezer was one of the main features I chose this fridge freezer for. I love the smooth glide of these big drawers, which give me instant access to my frozen food. I always disliked opening up the door of my old one, to then have to struggle with stuck, iced over brittle plastic drawers, which snapped. This one is stress free and sturdy. The drawers hold loads. I put all my bags of frozen food, vegetables/chips in the bottom drawer and use the top drawer for boxed frozen food, and an extra bread loaf. The best perk of the freezer is the added clear tray drawer that is within the top drawer but has it's own runners, which we have all the kids lollies on and ice cube trays (freezer came with a little ice cube tray with lid too). My children can now easily get an ice pop and see them all laid out in pretty colours!

The only thing I am slightly concerned about is how warm the sides of the fridge are on the outside. I've never had that before. I hope that is not a problem and is normal.

All in all, a spacious, space-saving, stylish and modern, family-friendly, inspired design."

Quiet and large, but take care if you need to reverse the door.

"A really sleek, capacious and quiet fridge/freezer (so quiet you almost wonder whether it’s working).

I’ve had to knock it down a star as the door, which I needed to reverse, proved impossible with the tools recommended in the instructions. The Haier engineer I had to get (and pay for) said that the door reversal required a ratchet, something I don’t have and which was not mentioned in the instructions. So for the sake of a tenner I could have saved the much more expensive fee I was charged. Oh, and I’m now waiting for a return visit as the door reversal clearly didn’t work in terms of the electrical connections as the open door alarm is now going off randomly and in no way connected to the door being closed or not. Having said all that, the service from the Haier helpline was excellent - friendly and professional (and they’re taking away my moan about the instructions and their deficiency.

So overall, a great fridge/freezer, but take care and be prepared with the right tools if you need to reverse the door (which came opening from left to right). "

Great looking fridge freezer

"Very smart looking fridge freezer. The drawers to the freezer make putting food in and out very easy. The fridge is very spacious. Water cooler is a great bonus. Very quiet as well. "

Amazing fridge freezer

"Finally decided to get rid of an old fridge freezer I’ve been manually defrosting, and I’m so glad I went for something different. In the packaging the fridge wouldn’t fit through my kitchen door, so was left in my hall and I had to do all the work (and trust me on your own it’s a lot!). Worth it in the end as this is simply stunning. The fridge has so much room it’s brilliant, no problem for us with bottles in the door. Lovely big drawer where I chose to keep the fruit this week. Freezer compartments don’t look massive on first glance but when you start to put stuff in you realise just how large they are. The sliding shelf is such a lovely feature; we use that as our ice lollies and cones tray and the kids can now happily grab one themselves without the weight of a big door and a drawer to pull out. My appliance unfortunately came a bit dented however this was resolved quickly and satisfactorily. The water dispenser is a huge bonus for us, our cat is now a chilled water drinker it seems. Haven’t found any fault with the actual make up of this at all and I’m so glad I went for it."

"Great product, really deep fridge with plenty of space for weeks worth of groceries for family of five. Two freezer drawers equally as spacious. Very quiet and the water dispenser is a great addition. "
