Good dishwasher

"This is a pretty good dishwasher, like a few other posts have stated the frontage seems a very cheap and plastic like, but, it does what it says it does. Washes dishes and drys them well. Only done 3 washes so far and time will tell. I don’t know if we have taller plates than other people but the rotary arm hits the top of the plates unless they are placed a certain way but the inside is very spacious and the top cutlery drawer is very handy. Overall good product "

Good so far

"Only had it a week. But so far it cleans dishes. There was a dent in the side when delivered but does not affect its working and let’s be honest the side is hidden. Good dishwasher so far. Door smdoes seem flimsy but again it works so just been careful with it. "

Decent dishwasher for the price, with some key areas of improvement clear

"Overall, this dishwasher is very spacious, looks sleek, and is relatively flexible in terms of loading. The washing quality of the machine seems pretty good, getting a glass ketchup bottle completely clean, and has been cleaning our glasses nicely, with no streaks.

We use smol dishwasher tablets, with Tesco brand rinse aid and salt.

I am possibly being over-critical, but this dishwasher was not the cheapest option, and the following things are a little frustrating for a mid-range dishwasher...

- Not very good at drying, especially noticeable on the cutlery and middle shelf, despite the auto-opening door. Having tried the Eco and Faster Wash options, both with the auto-opening door, neither seem to be any better at drying

- Top cutlery shelf is not adjustable. This is quite a big negative for me, as the clearance between it and the top of the dishwasher is very shallow, you are unlikely to be able to fit a very curved serving spoon here, and forget the potato masher! It would have been easily improved by making the 'dip' of the tray deeper, even if just on one side, taking some space from the tray beneath, especially as that is adjustable and pretty spacious

- Very lightweight. Positive point when installing, negative when in use. We have had to use some cardboard to wedge between the dishwasher and the unit above, to prevent any tipping of the dishwasher when opening

- Flimsy(?) not sure if this is the right word, but the cutlery and middle trays are relatively feeble when pushing in/pulling out, they don't feel very reassuring so you're always wondering if you'll bend something you shouldn't. I suppose this would be quite a good bonus if you were more frail, or have arthritis, but it does make me question the longevity of the product due to this feeling like a poorer build quality area

Overall, happy enough not to return the dishwasher, but I probably wouldn't rush out to buy a new one if/when it gives up the ghost.

The Hisense brand is pretty good for the money, we like our fridge/freezer and condenser tumble drier. The 2 year warranty is reassuring, but make sure you read all the 'rules' on how to use your appliance so you don't void it!"

Shoddy

"Poor build quality with flimsy basket runners. Not user friendly when it comes to loading . Lower spray arm catches against the lid of the salt dispenser which means that the bottom left hand corner of any load remains partially unwashed. "
