"This extractor is lovely and quiet, I can still have a conversation or listen to music when this is on full, very happy with it. It's got a nice sleek design, not as fancy/modern as some but nice for the price. The energy rating is poor but it's such a cheap extractor, I doubt I would make my money back buy buying something 4x as much that has a better energy rating! Overall it's a good buy, and if a quiet extractor is a priority I can recommend this one."

"This is the 2nd Baumatic chimney hood iv had. The first one lasted 10 years so iv bought the same one again. Fairly quiet smart looking takes away any cooking odours and steam. Would buy again. Only down side is they don't come with the charcoal filters. You have to buy these separate."

"The unit looks quite good, lights are fine, it is easy to install and to use. Big downside though is that the suction is almost non existent even on the highest setting which is quite noisy. I thought I was getting a bargain but in this case cheap means .... not very good .... at all ?"

"We bought this Baumatic hood to replace a similar B&Q hood - it was cheaper to buy this than replace the fan motor in the old one. This one is very good value for money, good quality stainless steel and reasonably quiet on the two lower settings but louder on the maximum setting as you'd expect. No complaints at all."
