Look out when removing covers to change hinge side.

"Small smart and does what it is supposed to. Removing the covers for changing the door hinge side resulted in damage to casing despite being VERY careful, covers need to be easier to remove."

Customer Rating:

Slightly flimsy feeling undercounter freezer.

"This under counter freezer is much smaller in capacity than I was expecting. The reason being is that it is very much shallower from front to back than the previous slim freezer that i had bought for this space.

The other and main reason for only giving it three stars is that the plastic drawers and fold down plastic flap inside feel very flimsy and as if they will crack or break easily and the appliance is so light in weight that it skids around on the floor when you pull on the door handle to open it. All in all although it does freeze things, it feels more like a toy than a real appliance. I would rather pay more to have an appliance that feels as though it will last. This was unfortunately the only model of anything that I could get to fit the space that it goes into."

Good quality narrow undercounter freezer

"I had to find a narrow undercounter freezer to fit into a 52cm wide space after the builder and supplier of units for my utility room slipped up on the measurements and left too little width for my current freezer. I normally buy local but could only get the black one online so purchased from AO for the first time. Very pleased with the quality and appearance of the MUZ4860EB and it seems very efficient so far. The bottom drawer is quite shallow (as is usual with fridges and freezers) but big enough to hold frozen veg and herbs. The top section with drop down front is very spacious. The middle drawer is also spacious. I live alone and have a larder fridge with icebox in the kitchen so the new freezer is quite big enough for me. "

Small and mighty.. but builds up ice due to design flaw

"It's great for the size, very compact. It got cold very quickly which saved a lot of our frozen food.

One issue we have discovered is that where the door seal touches the body of the freezer, at the top there is a textured surface finish that is allowing air to flow by. Meaning that we are getting a lot of ice buildup from the moisture in the air and have to clear it daily which is a pain.

I'm going to try and smooth the surface a little, but it is a design flaw."
