"Very pleased with the SMEG induction hob - it looks super stylish.
Easy to install, especially with the plug and play feature.
It raises pans to temperature quickly and is very responsive/easy to control the heat, once you get used to the settings.
So very easy to keep it clean - no fiddling about around gas burner heads or pot stands.
My one gripe with it is that the touch controls are not easy to see - you have to catch them in the right light. When I stand at the counter using the hob I have to twist to allow the light to fall onto the display so I can see it.
This may cause difficulties for people with impaired vision. SMEG should take note and redesign this feature."
