"Product itself is very nice, feels robust and quieter than expected. Fits well (our old one was also a Hoover). The cycles do take a while though but personally I don't mind as I'd take the efficiency gains instead.

"We bought this washer dryer to replace our Smeg WDI147D-1 which we had happily used for 5 years until it died. This Hoover washer dryer seemed to have good reviews, but within a week we had decided to send it back and replace it with the Smeg WDI147D-2 which is excellent.
The main issue with this Hoover product is the dryer: when you use it, it starts by filling the drum with quite a bit of water. I called Hoover immediately to check if this was a fault, but they explained it needs water in order to generate steam and dry the clothes. But this means that you can never put nearly-dry laundry in for a quick 20 minute tumble, because it will come out wetter than when you started. Ridiculous.
In any case, it doesn't work. We put multiple loads of varying sizes in to tumble and, even using the maximum heat cycle for almost FOUR HOURS, clothes still came out damp. Every time.
Simply put, if you're getting this for its drying capabilities, don't bother. The Smeg version dries without adding extra water and gets clothes dry in a decent amount of time. I'd never buy another Hoover product."

"Good washer dryer for built in needs. Does everything right. But the app and connectivity is absolutely awful. Do not buy if this is something you need. It uses an overly complicated method to connect and initial setup is a nightmare. Why in this day and age would you need to create a personal hotspot? Use the existing wifi or provide bluetooth. Their software engineers are morons."
