"Reviews for this new for 2022 LG oled TV are thin on the ground, but as already have the 2020 version (55CX) I knew what to expect, and as I needed a new gaming TV this ticks all the boxes for me. I've got my Xbox series X connected and can confirm that all the important ticks for 120hz and 120 fps are present and correct, along with Dolby Atmos & Vision, and the picture quality is the best I've ever seen on a TV, however some tweaks are needed out of the box if you want to make the best of your new baby!
First thing- surprisingly you will need a software update even though its brand new, next thing you MUST do is turn off the energy saving option for the screen as this is set to on by default, as this artificially dims the screen and why would anyone want that with this TV? There are multiple settings for the picture options, personally I use Filmmaker mode for regular TV watching as it's the most accurate for colours and game mode for gaming (obviously), the sound quality is a step up from my older set and adequate for my needs, but if you want the full Atmos and surround sound experience you'll need to look further than the TV on its own.
This is a great tv and not just for gaming and I highly recommend it."
