"seems well made and the wash cycle is good but very long on most settings as mentioned above by some
the spin leaves the clothes fairly damp not as good as my 10 year old machine which this was meant to replace ! The biggest negative is that during the (very long drying cycle the cold water inlet valve comes on and off every 10-15 seconds or so making a lot of noise at the inlet valve so multiply 6 times a minute by 3 hours -that a lot of horrible banging Hotpoint say this is "normal" ! Sent back and exchanged for another machine !"

"There's no good in-between cycle, it's either really quick or really long (up to 9 hours with a dry on top!), my unit also caused a massive amount of water hammer during the dry cycle which Hotpoint claimed was normal, I ended up getting it exchanged to a different brand and my new machine no longer makes the same amount of water hammer."
