You probably won’t find much use for the fact that you can control it with your phone but it might just come in handy.
Some reviewers have suggested it’s hard to see the buttons.
I’ve not found this to be a problem (indeed I had been wondering what they meant) but then the other day I tried to use it without putting on the kitchen light, and I now understand that there may be some kitchens where the light is low, or just happens to not be shining at the correct angle, where seeing the buttons might be an issue.
My guess is for most people this is not going to be a problem."
