"I bought this TV for the bedroom to replace an old Samsung HD LED TV which has stopped working. I have to say I've been a little disappointed with the picture on this set; dark scenes on Netflix or Amazon Prime from a Fire TV stick are very dark. I have adjusted the picture settings as recommended by LG but dark scenes are still too dark.
In addition the set has a very narrow viewing angle. I have it on top of a tall set of draws and when lying in bed I look up towards the screen which caused the pictures to have a washed out look. This improves if you look directly at the screen but definitely makes it unsuitable for wall mounting unless you angle the screen down towards the viewing area.
Overall I prefer the pictures on 12+ year old set this one has replaced."
