Expected better

"The body of the TV is quite flimsy and not as solid as I would expected from LG. It’s is quite wobbly on its legs and I am pretty sure it won’t hold up in lowest earthquake rating. Furthermore the screen is not sealed to the frame, I can move it with a light touch to create a visible gap into inside the body of the Tv. The menu & settings are basic and don’t find it very user friendly along with the remote (I don’t rate the remote, it’s not great..). There is no actual physical user manual comes with the tv, you have to go online. Also the tv is ‘set up’ very commercially oriented in as in each way you view the home menu, guide, search, etc it takes you to the apps which are all asking you to subscribe to their services. Even the remote is ‘sponsored’ with dedicated buttons for Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, etc). It’s overall a bit of a ‘cheap quality experience’ in my opinion. My Apple TV 4K also do not work with the TV so had to return that to Apple. I use my Apple Tv for other things that not optional on the LG Tv.

On top of all the above, setting it up was painful with all their T&C, entering passwords, etc. Long… still not finished it fully as I had other things to get on with.

Sound is ok, was expecting way better same on picture quality. It’s ok but that’s about it.

I have a 12 years old LG Tv, that one is better built and better quality than this one. I think this one is trying to be too clever for its own good and heavily concentrating on the sponsors on the expense of the actual quality.
