"This is a delight. I thought the knock-to-see window was silly however I do find myself using it as I prepare to make dinner. A quick couple of taps and I can see if I have my ingredients without opening the door. This unit uses 25% of the power that our older fridge freezer of the same size which is a big bonus. The inside space is fantastic.
The negatives are
* you need space on the sides to open the door, it doesn't rotate in-place like my last one
* The ice maker is very noisy. It doesn't run very often but it was shocking when I first heard it.

"I was pleased with it initially until it developed a fault 11 months on. It started with the water dispenser not working correctly then progressed with the fridge freezer making an unpleasant sound for 2 days and then the fan stopped working. I rang LG customer service and they asked that I troubleshoot the issue, which I did the usual - turn off and on. Then they asked if it was the motor -how am I meant to know that?! After 6 days they sent an engineer who googled the error code upon attending to discover that it was the fan that packed up!! Mind you, I mentioned the error code to the customer assistant when I was speaking to her for over an hour to troubleshoot the issue.
After two weeks ao offered to replace the product. This is after spending close to 6 hours speaking with customer services for both ao.com and LG over 2 weeks. The LG customer service was atrocious!!"
