"I purchased this Toshiba 43" smart tv based on reviews... Size is fine, picture quality is not as good as I thought it would be and to be honest I am disappointed.
Tv arrived with totally the wrong screws, so was left with out the tv until the screws arrived... now set up in the bedroom with my Sky mini box, and as stated I am not happy with the picture quality, my old Plasma was far superior to this Toshiba which I dislike so much, yet Toshiba is a good make hence going with this brand, if you want a good quality tv pay more and buy better, as it is only for the bedroom it will have to do!! Unfortunately :("
"Purchased for my xbox series X (dolby vision and HDR10) and it works a treat for the money. Picture looks very good and the sound is more than enough for what I require.
Only 2 issues, the VESA mount is only 100 x 100 on the back and it is a little small for my liking on a 43" screen. Still works and is hung up fine on the wall but 200 x 200 would have made more sense.
Also, nothing to do with the TV itself but the delivery. TV arrived but a good quarter of the box was wet, had to take it all out and check it over before accepting it...
Very happy with the purchase otherwise (minus the niggles!)"
"Picture and sound quality are fine. I bought this particular model because of the stand, as it would sit on top of my sound bar (which I have unplugged, not needed with this set) whereas many/most tv's seem to have legs that are too far apart to fit my space.
Irritations are extremely large and bright green LED showing it's on. (I've covered that with a bit of card) and annoying "Do you want to check Alexa for messages" screen every time you switch on which you have to reply to (don't have or want Alexa). Can't find a way to stop it."
